School days

As a young boy David loved school,he liked to play and have fun, he even enjoyed learning sometimes. Best of all he could play in the school football teams. Many times he won man of the match, which was always rewarded (rather unfairly I thought) with Mum washing the whole teams strip. At 6 years old David had learnt chess, so was pleased when he could join the school chess club. He dropped out as soon as he realised others thought it wasn't cool. After school in the summer, we always went to the woods or the beach. As he grew older, he would go with friends, always looking for adventure. A typical lad, always coming home muddy, holey clothes and hungry. He also enjoyed going fishing. I don't think there was ever a school holiday that didn't involve a hospital trip, not with just the usual breaks either, David always went one better. David was a very deep and emotional human being, with a devotion to animals, especially dogs, and he adored children, with their misheivious ways. He was always very protective of his relations and friends.
